Webinar: GuarantEE Measurement and Verification (M&V)
Save the date! On 23 January 2018 The Netherlands Enterprise Agency and Factor4 from Belgium present a webinar on Measurement and Verification (M&V) of Energy Performance Contracting (EPC).
Before you draw up an EPC, it is very important to have clear communication on terminology and to make clear agreements to quantify and verify energy savings and other performances. M&V protocols offer useful principles, and implementation always depends on data available and on the energy measures that are taken.
Sven Wuyts is project manager and EPC Facilitator at Factor4. Since 2009 he works as a ‘Certified Measurement and Verification Professional’ (CMVP), acknowledged by EVO as a ‘level 2’ Trainer. Sven Wuyts will present the basics concepts of M&V and the International Performance Measurement and Verification Protocol (IPMVP®). He highlights the purposes of M&V, the range of possible M&V methods, and the need for specific M&V design for each project. The program is designed for management, financial, regulatory and technical professionals who want a basic understanding of the role of M&V in supporting energy efficiency retrofits and investments. IPMVP defines standard terms and ways for quantifying the results of energy efficiency investments. It is an international common protocol and framework, and is worldwide used by ESCo’s for implementing Energy Measures.
All guarantEE partners and all national EPC Facilitators and Experts are invited for this webinar. So please inform your national contacts and ask them to save the date.
Date: 23 Jan 2018, 15:00 – 16:00
Organized by The Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO.nl), Irma Thijssen and Selina Roskam, and Factor4, Sven Wuyts and Geert Goorden.
