The guarantEE mid-term project meeting was hosted by Factor4 in Antwerp
On 13 and 14 November 2017 the delegates of the 14 guarantEE project partners together with the EU project advisor met in Antwerp for the mid-term project meeting.
The guarantEE project aims to foster the use of Energy Performance Contracting (EPC) in the public and private sector across Europe. The delegates presented their intermediate project results and discussed how to implement at least 33 pilot projects within the 2nd half of the project, focussing on private sector buildings and innovative energy service models adequately sharing costs and benefits between user, building owner and ESCO (triple-win approach).
During the meeting the project partners presented a list of 127 potential projects. These projects will now be shortlisted and followed-up to reach the target of 33 signed EPC contracts by the end of the project, leading to savings of 78 GWh primary energy and 18,000 t CO2 per year.
