European Energy Service Award (EESA) 2019

In cooperation with the European Commission and within the project guarantEE, the EESA honoured once again outstanding European projects and institutions in the field of energy services. A total of seven municipalities, institutions and companies from Croatia, Germany, Italy, Romania and Slovenia have been honoured within this year’s Awards Ceremony of EESA2019.

The winners of the competition received the prizes during the Covenant of Mayors Investment Forum – Energy Efficiency Finance Market Place on 20 February 2019 in Brussels.

In cooperation with the European Commission and within the project guarantEE, the EESA honoured once again outstanding European projects and institutions in the field of energy services. Winners were the City of Esse, the City of Ljubljana (Slovenia), the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca (TUCN) together with the Centre of Resources for Energy Efficiency and Climate Change (CREESC) and the City Municipality of Cluj-Napoca (Romania), E1 Energiemanagement GmbH (Germany) and the Region of Liguria (Italy). The jury also decided to hand out two recognition awards. The winners were NEWLIGHT Project from Croatia and BIM Berliner Immobilienmanagement GmbH and B.E.M Berliner Energiemanagement GmbH from Berlin, Germany.
